TMUA Practice Papers
Timed practice for TMUA Paper 1 and Paper 2 is in a free account, marked the moment you answer and worked in full. The mock papers that used to be published here are being rebuilt to the standard of our ESAT papers, and nothing is published until they meet it.

Timed papers in a free account
TMUA practice holds unseen TMUA questions, marked the moment you answer, and free timed papers for Paper 1 and Paper 2, each with the full working. The same account holds ESAT practice, so a candidate sitting both prepares in one place.
Why the published papers were withdrawn
There were twenty questions here. They were made before our ESAT standard existed, and the page had to explain a way of working that has since been replaced. Rather than leave them up under a description nobody should have to read, they are withheld until they can be rebuilt the way the ESAT papers are. Nothing is lost: they are kept, and the rebuild is a rewrite rather than a fresh start.
What they will be
The same standard as the ESAT papers, which are published and free to use today:
- Built to feel like the official paper. The same length, the same pace, the same kind of traps.
- Every option worked out. Each wrong answer is one a real student reaches, and the solution names the slip.
- Mapped to the specification, question by question. Every question is written against a named sub-topic, so coverage is a fact that can be counted rather than a claim.
You can see what that produces in the ESAT worked solutions.
Useful in the meantime
The TMUA overlaps the ESAT more than its name suggests: both reward speed on the same core mathematics, and the method matters more than the topic list on either.
